A Life Focused on Christ

Hello everyone!!

This week's subject line has two meanings. First, I absolutely love being a full-time missionary and testifying of Jesus Christ full-time. Second, I don't want my life to be any less focused on Christ when I go home. it's been a time of a lot of reflection for us, given that my companion goes home in two weeks and me a transfer later. He's been working a lot on his plans for after the mission and I've been supporting, helping, teaching, and learning from him in all those respects.

The central doctrine of the Church of Jesus Christ is that Jesus Christ suffered, died, and was resurrected, all out of an infinite love for us. The Come, Follow Me from this last week was impactful for me as I've been learning a lot about Christ and His Atonement recently. Enoch's seeing-all-of-infinity perspective on the importance of Christ's Atonement is just impactful.

We need prayers for Ruben and Liliana to come to Church, for everyone and their dog to get better from COVID so they can keep learning about the gospel of Jesus Christ, for Elder Loayza to prepare to start his life as a YSA disciple, and to be able to find the people that are prepared to let God prevail and whose ancestors are waiting for ordenances.

We're seeing miracles!! I wish I could call every one of you and just tell miracle stories for a while, because we see miracles every day. I know without even a shadow of a doubt that this is the Lord's work. He is at the helm, and He knows us perfectly in all of our imperfections and wants us to be freed of them. I testify of my Savior Jesus Christ. He lives and loves us infinitely. In the name of Him whom I worship, Jesus Christ, Amen.

Love you all so much! Thank you for your thoughts, prayers, and efforts to gather Israel. Hurrah for Israel!

One Blessed Ward

My dear friends!

As I mentioned in my last letter, I got transferred. I'm now in Huanta, Ayacucho, a little town in the Andes mountains, and I absolutely love the ward here. The members are working hard and I'm ecstatic to be able to develop relationships with them over the next three months.

My new companion is Elder Loayza, a stud from Cuzco. We get along fantastic and are very happy to be able to learn from each other. He goes home this transfer.

I got to witness through pictures the baptisms of Michel, Michel, and Jacomo. I love their family so dearly and could not be happier about them making covenants with our Heavenly Father.

We could use your prayers for Noemi, whose family is going through some rough medical challenges as she's working on getting herself and her daughter baptized.

We could also use prayers for Keny, who is working on deciding to serve a mission. Here in the South America Northwest Area, we've been going through a dearth of missionaries, and since the pandemic started much fewer have left on missions from here. We're working with several young men in the ward to help them fulfill their Priesthood responsibility and experience the joy that is missionary work.

I love you all! I love my Savior, I love His work, and I'm so incredibly grateful to participate in it full-time. Let's gather Israel.

I'll go where you want me to go

Hi everyone!

I am doing so well! I'm so happy and grateful to be a missionary for my Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. I know this is His work and He guides it.

This week we saw that very directly. President and Sister Holt and the assistants entered transfer meeting on Monday (just across the wall from my desk), all four thinking I would finish my mission in La CampiƱa as financial secretary and semi-official Spanish tutor for Sister Holt. During that meeting, the Lord made clear to all four that He had other plans. My replacement came to the office on Tuesday to begin a week and a half of hyperfast training before I take off to finish my mission with two transfers in Huanta, Ayacucho. I feel happy and at peace with the revelaron received and am so excited to go give the Huanta ward my everything for three months. I would appreciate your prayers for Elder Cestti, who is learning the finances of the mission in a quarter of the time that he was to have.

Please pray that Jacomo, Michel, Michel, and Jimena can get baptized on Saturday. It's going to take a lot of miracles for everything to work out, but all four are excited, have testimonies, and nearly prepared to make ordinances, we just need that last little bit.

Please also pray that Johana and Alexander can get married and can take care of the health of their family.

There are too many miracles in this work for it to be anything but sacred. The Lord is shoulder to shoulder with us in this. We have sacred experiences every day as we work to yoke ourselves to Him and worship Him with our actions.

Immeasurably blessed and so deeply happy,
